We don't know much about the pink and gold dynamo that goes by the name Fluffy Starr other than that she rocks and makes good music. It's candy for the ears, sure, but of the kind you get hooked on, something you would crank up in the car as you drive along with the windows down. Keep an eye on the Fluffy One and her cohorts with the official site and their Myspace.

Fluffy Star - review
Fluffy Starr is an explosion of pink punked-up powerpop, an adrenalinised fusion of your favourite bubblegum with My Ruin, Curve, and The Genitorturers. Fluffy Star is a "rock/industrial/new wave" explosion of energy, melody, like a younger better-looking and less-harsh Genitorturers. The gal herself, Fluffy, started the whole Fluffy Starr concept of "one grrl surrounded by lots of machines" and made it to 12 in the old MP3.Com Top 40. Since we ran this short-but-sweet review, Ms Star has finally made some headway on the long-awaited album and it's finally available. We'll be reviewing this soon.
