NoiseMatters Recordings and its first projected release, NoiseMatters volume 1: The Empire of Noise, are NMCom's project to bring unsigned and underground acts to a wider audience, with high-quality recording and professional production standards.

This first volume, when all the details are finalised (due to the hiatus or disappearance of some of the original bands involved, we have had to reconsider options here) is planned to be a "taster", with several bands contributing a track each. Unlike the original plan which was to sell the album and put profits back into the site, we are considering doing this as a promo, which would be available to the bands involved to give away at their gigs, helping promote both their own work and that of others on the compilation.
